Creating functional surfaces by laser is today easier with our method

At the NTC Research Centre at West Bohemian University, we developed a new method called shifted Laser Surface Texturing (sLST), which can significantly increase the productivity of the laser texturing process while maintaining excellent processing accuracy. The method makes it possible to overcome physical limitations (heat accumulation during the process, plasma shielding of laser) and thus increase processing speeds up to 100 times faster while effectively using high power pulse lasers and ultra-fast scanning heads.
